Art of Dance is delighted to announce that their 2022 Summer School will take place from 9am-4pm on Monday 7th August to Friday 11th August at
Bishop Hannington Community Centre (38 Holmes Avenue, BN3 7NH).
Fee: £195 to include track suit, T shirt or hoodie.
We will be running five fun packed days of dance and creativity, introducing many different styles of dance including ballet, Bollywood, flamenco,
freestyle and musical theatre. This event is open to children with a keen interest in dance from 4 years to 12 years.
Parents are invited to a free performance on the final afternoon.

I am delighted to be able to confirm that we can return to Southover Church Hall from Thursday 6th May - please
contact me asap if you would like to book a place for your child.
Please note that Summer Saturday classes now run back to back with no 10 minute interval between each one -
see our Term Times page for more details.
I am hoping to return to Thursday classes at Southover Church Hall very soon and will be introducing Flamenco
dance to the timetable, as well as our usual tap and ballet classes.
I will announce the timetable for these once I have confirmation of our booking.
Our Easter Dance Event will take place at on April 12th and 13th from 8.30am-1.30pm. We always used to run one at
Easter for three days, and a summer school for a whole week, in which we put on a free show. Have a look at our gallery
here and on our Facebook page to see some pictures of previous dance events.
Cost is £30 a day. I am not asking for payment now, rather an indication of interest. Do let me know if you think this is
something that would suit your child. We shall also be rehearsing some dance numbers that we will later use in the summer
show at The Royal Hippodrome, Eastbourne, June 19th.
We are revving up to return to normal life. Classes are running on Zoom again this Saturday, but not on 20th February,
since that is half term week.
I will send invitations to the next set of classes, and again, hope not to need them all.
One more thing, we are now on Instagram as _.artofdance._ (underscore, dot, artofdance, dot, underscore)
so please find us and follow us!

Regrettably our studios have had to close until the end of lockdown - but classes are running on Zoom. Please contact me

SUMMER SCHOOL 2015

August 3rd to 7th inclusive, 10am-4pm
There are two age groups:
4 to 7 years and 7 plus. Seven-year-olds can choose which group they would like to be in.
This club is not just for girls, although most of the children tend to be female because Art of Dance began as
a ballet school. Children should come with a packed lunch.
